Ricardo Marsh Training is excited to offer The Next Level Afterschool Program beginning September 5, 2017! The Next Level Afterschool Program will provide your elementary, middle and high school student with a fun, safe environment in which they will also have the ability to expand their sport specific skills while keeping up with their studies. Sessions will be catered to your child’s needs, however each child will participate in a Wind Down Session, Study Hall, Strength and Conditioning sessions, as well as sessions in sport specific skill development.

Transportation, Arrival and Departure

We currently provide transportation from Chesterfield County, Henrico County, Petersburg City, and Richmond City schools. If your child’s school is not currently on our list, please inquire with us so that an addition can be made! As students arrive our Coaches will get your child checked in and directed to their appropriate station. You will need to sign your child out upon your departure.

 

*We know things come up, however please notify us in advance if your child will not be in attendance on a scheduled day or if there will be any changes in transportation.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

(WILL VARY BASED ON AGE)

  • Sign In and Snack: Parents will need to provide a snack for your child. There is a limited selection of drinks and snacks on site at an additional cost
  • Wind Down – Practice Mindfulness: Students will be walked through a five minute mindfulness exercise to help them unwind and focus their energy in preparation for Study Hall.
  • Study Hall: This will be monitored and facilitated by one of our coaches. During study hall children will have the opportunity to complete homework and/or study for quizzes and test. Assistance will be available if needed as it is our goal to communicate any issue we observe with school work and projects.
  • Strength and Conditioning:  This will begin with a group warm up, after which students will be split into groups depending on their needs.
  • Sport Specific Training: Training will be catered to your child’s sport, athletic ability and skill set.
  • Free Time: After the completion of school work. conditioning and training, your child will have the opportunity to use their time as they see fit, in a structured manner, until a parent or guardian arrives and signs them out.

*We will follow the Chesterfield County, Henrico County, Petersburg City, and Richmond City School calendar. Activities will be offered on early release, teacher work days and certain holidays at an additional cost. Teacher work days and holidays: Additional $25 per day (9am-6pm)
